I had a follow up appointment with my plastic surgeon today. I felt a little bad that the good healing I had going on my stomach from the surgery in April was undone by the surgery this week. However, he could tell that my incisions are healing well and said the residual bruising/swelling from the liposuction is normal. We talked briefly about the fact that there is still some asymmetry in my chest that could be corrected, but even he acknowledged that my body needed a break from surgery. No way I want to do anything more at this point. I just want to heal and feel better.

I’m thankful that the plastic surgery side is done and I have no more restrictions from it. Now hopefully, I feel better soon from Monday’s surgery.
