Jenny and Jim were in town for his family’s Christmas, so they spent the night at our place. I knew they’d be late, so I left the light on for them before I went to bed. The pups didn’t even bark when they showed up, which I’m not sure I like. I suspect they thought Patrick was home, and then recognized them.

I’m thankful I got to spend the morning chatting with my sister before they left. I’m also thankful I got some decent cookies made and the last of the presents wrapped. And I’m grateful Patrick had a good time with his family before he started on his way home. He’ll be back tomorrow! Yay!
