I was supposed to get an MRI this morning but the machine wasn’t working right so they rescheduled me. Unfortunately, that meant I could go into work and handle a problem, even though my plan was to take the afternoon off since my mother-in-law came into town today to visit.

I did leave work a little early, so I’m thankful for that. I’m also thankful for a nice dinner and a relaxing evening with Patrick’s mom.

I slept in too long so I didn’t have everything ready early enough before my friend came over with her truck to help me haul stuff to my booth. However, we got it done and it didn’t take too long. Yay! I’m grateful for her help and for getting it set up quickly. I’m also glad I got a couple more of my dolls done for the Witches Market. October is coming soon.

Patrick left in the morning to go to the renaissance Faire, so I spent the day gathering stuff for my booth. I didn’t have anything in my storage unit to use for storage (how ironic) so I went to a few thrift stores. I’m grateful I found a few things and had time to get stuff from my storage unit. It was so warm, so it wasn’t a good time, but it was productive.

I was excited about my booth but after going to my storage unit today, my enthusiasm waned. I realized I have very few items for staging and very little energy to figure it out. Boo.

On the upside, I can move stuff in at my own pace and I have some good ideas for the holidays. If I continue that long, it will be fun. I’m grateful to have stuff to look forward to.

I got a booth for rent at a nearby store that will start in August. Today I paid my first month’s rent and arranged for when I can bring stuff there. Yay! Of course, now I need to get it all together. Story of my life. Haha.

I’m hoping that some of my handmade stuff will sell at this place; it’s a garden/gift/antique store, so who knows. The upside is that I’m not locked into a year or anything, so it’s worth a shot. I’m thankful to have another place to try.
