It’s Emma’s birthday! I’m so grateful for her and proud of her. She’s making good changes for herself, and I’m excited to see what happens next in her life. I’m also thankful for a work from home day, a good doctor’s appointment, and pre-birthday pizza with Patrick. Oh! And my friend Sharon who is also celebrating her birthday today. 🎉

Today I’m grateful for an early birthday celebration with a couple of friends who treated me to a yummy dinner and drinks. And gave me this adorable coffee mug and a gift card to Starbucks.

I’m thankful for chatting with my kids, having snacks for dinner, snuggling with pups and sleeping in clean sheets.

I’m grateful for a beautiful fall day. Early in the day, I met a friend for coffee and a walk around the local arboretum. I could have walked in the woods all day.

And tonight Patrick made chili (yum!) and we sat in the hot tub under the stars. Perfect ending.

I’m thankful for getting things done around the house today while Patrick went off searching for specific sweet potatoes. It feels good to knock things off the list for a change.

I had today off work for Veterans Day, and I am grateful for the service of all the vets in our country. It’s an incredible sacrifice they made for our freedoms.

I’m thankful for a day off tomorrow. Yay!

I’m thankful tomorrow is my last workday this week, and I don’t have a day filled with meetings.

I’m not liking the change in daylight. It seems so dark at 5:00 pm that it’s difficult to stay awake until bedtime. But I am thankful that our weather is still mild.
