Uggghhh, what a lousy Monday. I got more added to my to-do list than I took off. But that was just work. I’m thankful I’m able to leave it at the end of the day.

It was also warm again, and while I’m loving the sunshine, I do wish it would get a little cooler. (I’m probably going to regret saying that soon.) I am thankful tomorrow will be a little cooler and more like Fall. And at least it has looked like Fall. The trees have been really vibrant.

I had a long list of things I wanted to get done today, and I got most of them done. Woohoo! I even got the lilies and dahlias dug up. The lilies are going away, but hopefully, the dahlia tubers will survive the winter. I want to plant them somewhere else next year. The only thing I didn’t get to was a book I haven’t yet finished. Oh, well. I’m thankful for a productive day.

We have had such great weather still. Sunny and slightly cool. The downside is we haven’t had much rain. The upside is that Patrick has been able to work on his greenhouse. He’s making good progress.

I also got some stuff done. I finally got some pictures hung on one of our bedroom’s walls in the collection of old frames I had. It’s still a work in progress, but I’m glad to have it started.

I also got some cleaning done around the house. And some shopping done. And pup snuggling. Overall, Im thankful for a pretty good day.

Friday! Yay!

I’m thankful for a sunny afternoon and for getting off work on time. I’m also thankful that the weekend ahead is wide open. I’m hoping to get some things done at home.

I’m thankful today for some fun at work, for a sweet and funny gift, for an after work get-together with friends, and for only one day left of work this week. Yay!

After another pup kerfluffle this morning, I’m thankful that they got along fine the rest of the day. It freaks me out when they get into it. I’m also thankful for a relaxing evening after working an extra long day. It was crazy busy.

A friend’s nine-year-old daughter had a pretty major surgery today. I can’t imagine how hard that was for the whole family, especially knowing it was the first of two she needs. I’m so thankful that it went well and that she’s a strong kid. I really hope she heals quickly.

I’m thankful for a little after work Halloween celebration with a friend. Yay!

It was super windy and cold together, so it really felt like Fall. We did a little junking early on and then Patrick tried to work on his greenhouse, but it was too windy to be on a ladder. He called it quits and we had an early dinner. I did get the front yard mowed and some laundry done, so I’m thankful for that. I’m also thankful for cooler temperatures because it makes sleeping so nice — at least until we have to turn the heat on.

It was a day for cleaning up and doing laundry, but also a bit of fun. I took some of my leftover crafts to my booth at the garden center. And did a little shopping where I found a pair of green boots at a discount. Yay! Patrick worked on his greenhouse and is making good progress, so he’s happy. I’m grateful for a semi-productive, semi-play day.
