I can’t believe Christmas is so close. Patrick left early this morning to drive to Texas to spend a few days with his family. He’s planning to be back before my girls fly here next weekend, and I’m grateful his travels today were safe.

Tomorrow night is my work holiday party, and I’m looking forward to some cheer after a few stressful and busy weeks. Tonight I had to finish some last minute things for the party, like wrapping the raffle prizes, but I’m thankful I finally had some time this week to relax with the pups and watch a Christmas movie. And drink hot chocolate. And snuggle.

I’m thankful today that my booth at the holiday sale looked good, I got lots of compliments, and I sold a couple of things. I was hoping to sell a bunch, but it wasn’t the right crowd. It’s ok. Now I know. I am also thankful for a friend who hung out with me a while today and for Patrick’s help getting things together.

I did it. I spent ALL day working on wreaths and finishing up other crafts. I’m thankful for having the alone time in my craft room (so lucky Cooper stays away from the baby gate!). I’m also thankful for getting done with enough time to watch a little tv and relax with my boys.

Last month I applied to be a vendor for a Christmas market at a local oddities shop. I wasn’t accepted because they got full quickly. But earlier this week I got invited because someone else backed out. I agreed, knowing I didn’t really have any inventory to sell. And I’ve been busy all week, so I’m thankful I was able to sneak out of work an hour early to get myself ready to craft tonight.

I think I got a good start on some small items that might be an easy sell. Who knows. I really have no idea what will go at a market where the theme is Holiday Shopping with Serial Killers. Ghost Face and Freddy will be there. I’ll be spending all day tomorrow making skull wreaths and more odd stuff.

I’ll add hanging hardware to these glass collages.
