I spent the morning picking seeds at a local prairie conservation as a volunteer day at work. It was so pretty, and I wanted every work day to be outside, until I got overheated and sweaty. Haha. It was informative, though. I’m thankful for a day outside in the sun. It was a nice break.

Fall showed its face and then disappeared because it has been so warm this week. I’ve been working on my crafts in the garage, but it was so muggy that I needed to bring out a fan. However, I’m thankful I got quite a bit done today. I am tired of making small paper hats, though. Tomorrow I’m going to give myself a break and work on some larger items.

Before I started working in the garage, Patrick and I went to a craft show at the same fairgrounds my booth will be part of next month. I wanted to check out how folks were set up and see what the popular stuff seems to be. Apparently, it is country-styled clothing and Arizona inspired home goods with the 30 to 50 year old white women. It was a different vibe from previous years I’ve gone to this market. Here’s hoping the Witches Market draws the right crowd of skeleton-loving weirdos like me, or I’ll be stuck with a lot of these cuties.

This week the red sun has been shining like this and by the time I get to my turn, it’s hiding behind the trees. It’s my little hide and seek moment on the way to work, which makes me smile.

I’m thankful for pretty moments like that. And for a wonderful massage after work. I really needed it.
