Actually, every day at work has been incredibly busy. I’m so glad tomorrow is Friday, and I have a doctor’s appointment to break up the day.

I actually left work on time today, mostly because I was getting a headache which made it hard to think. I’m blaming it on the weather because I really don’t want to be getting sick again. We are supposed to get rain, and it seems to mess with my sinuses every time a front comes through. I still made it to the gym though. I figured if I was going to feel miserable, I might as well go all in. Ha.

I’m thankful for a quiet evening finishing up a mystery show. And for cranberry tea. And for an improvement in my headache.

I’m tired. The dogs have been big bed hogs lately, and I’ve had some leg pain that requires me to move too much at night. It’s frustrating. But this guy is a good snuggler…

I’m thankful that my mom had good news at the doctor’s office today and that the weather has warmed up again. Oh, and Patrick found some curtains that might work. Yay!

It’s my mother-in-law’s birthday today, and I’m very grateful for her.

I’m angry with myself because I wasted my afternoon on curtains. I made curtains for our bedroom but I haven’t been happy with them. With the warmer weather around the corner, I figured I’d go with something lighter. However, it’s so hard to find something that’s lighter but not boring. Oh, well. It’s now an ongoing project.

Although I didn’t get back to my craft room because of the curtains, I am thankful for chatting with my sister, having brunch, sitting in the hot tub, and getting a couple work things done so my tomorrow morning isn’t frantic.

The rain stopped and the sun came out, so Patrick and I got out of town for a while. We went to an outlet mall looking for curtains, which I did not find. But we found some other good deals and had a yummy lunch. I’m thankful for a fun day, especially since we will be losing an hour with the time change. I’m also grateful that the pups were good all day and this old pupper was snuggly tonight.

It has been a dreary, rainy Friday. I had a long workday where I got more added to my to-do list than I took off. Then I had a dentist appointment for a filling, and half my mouth stayed numb for almost 4 hours. I had to skip dinner so I wouldn’t bite my tongue.

But I’m thankful to have the dentist appointment over, the weekend ahead, sunshine in the forecast, and a morning of sleeping in to look forward to.

After another long week (ok, almost week) I’m super thankful to catch up after work with a friend. We had drinks and good food and talked about (mostly) non-work related stuff. I don’t care how old you are, friendships are so important. I’m lucky to have some good ones.

Today I didn’t feel completely overwhelmed at work, so that’s a win. And tomorrow, I have only a few meetings scheduled, which I’m thankful for. Maybe I’ll get a few more things checked off my very long list.

I’m also thankful for some work shenanigans, for meeting Patrick after work for pizza, and finding some cool inexpensive lace to use for my angels.

I’m thankful today for unplanned chats with friends, homemade chili, flowers and making it to the gym after work.
