Today I had an appointment with an ear, nose, throat specialist to check on my sinus issues. He asked how long my issues have been going on, and I told him I couldn’t remember a time that I didn’t have them. I have post nasal drip constantly and year round. It’s annoying.

My main reason for seeing the doctor is to make sure I don’t have the same sinus issues that I had during the last surgery. I was hoping to preemptively figure it out before my next surgery gets scheduled. After a brief check of (not surprisingly) my ears, nose, and throat, the doctor says I have non-allergic rhinitis and prescribed me a nose spray. He says it has great success in drying up the excess drainage. Yay! I’m thankful it’s a potentially simple fix and will keep my fingers crossed it works for me.
