Today I talked with a friend about radiation. She’s dealing with breast cancer for the second time and has radiation to go through, something she didn’t need the first time. She didn’t want anything sugarcoated, so I sent her some photos.

I finished radiation in November so not that long ago, but even I cringed when I looked back at the photos. It was a bad few weeks. It’s amazing how quickly we can forget things, even the bad. What a blessing. I’m thankful for that.
